Hemodialysis

Providing hemodialysis service for both outpatients and inpatients with the support of nephrologists (sub-specialists in kidney and hypertension doctors) for adults and children, general practitioners, and certified nurses.

Patient safety is the primary goal of our service and therefore, the patients' health condition are monitored through a laboratory tests prior to the dialysis procedure. The dialysis process is carried out using a single-use or disposable blood filter to prevent the transmission of a blood-borne disease (such as hepatitis and HIV).

For patient comfort, the modern dialysis rooms are designed separately to ensure the privacy of each patient. The unit is also supported by the latest hemodialysis machine that is able to measure the level of hemodialysis adequacy every time a patient undergoes hemodialysis therapy.

On top of that, the machine is also equipped with ABPM (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring) to measure the blood pressure, endotoxin filters to avoid the effect of shivering on patients, and also a special dialyzer to reduce the problem of uneven blood distribution.

Apart from the dialysis room for regular patients, each hemodialysis unit at RS Pondok Indah Group also has special isolation rooms for patients with contagious diseases (hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV).

A mobile hemodialysis service is also available in a special care service room (equipped with reverse osmosis networks). Our hemodialysis unit also receives pediatric patients and is supported by an integrated digital information system, which makes patient medical visit is recorded digitally and can be accessed throughout the entire hospital network of RS Pondok Indah Group.
